Military Tycoon map and locations guide: outposts, oil rigs and objectives

The map is not empty space between bases. Strategic locations create income, combat and reasons to use different vehicle classes.

Outposts

The community wiki documents outposts positioned around different parts of the map. The Russian wiki also describes capturing outposts and islands as a way to receive bonuses to money and experience in the historical progression system.

Oil rigs

The Places page notes that oil rigs are positioned at sea, including map-corner locations. The official Roblox description explicitly lists oil rigs among the strategic locations players can capture.

Why location knowledge matters

Knowing where objectives are changes vehicle choice. A fast aircraft may be ideal for reaching a distant location first, while a tank can be more practical for holding ground once fighting begins. Naval vehicles become relevant around offshore objectives.

Map control creates predictable fights

Strategic objectives pull players toward the same areas. That makes them useful not only for rewards but also for finding PvP without randomly searching the entire map.

Learn routes, not just names

Memorize the quickest approach from your base, where enemies are likely to arrive from, and where you can retreat. Route knowledge often matters more than raw vehicle speed.
