What is Ratte P1000?

Ratte P1000 is one of Military Tycoon's largest and most durable ground vehicles. It was added on March 8, 2025 during the P.1000 Ratte Crates event and was limited to 750 available copies.

The tank is intentionally huge and slow, but compensates with very high health and extremely powerful cannon fire. The current market tracker describes it as having massive armor and damage output and notes that recent upgrades let it destroy almost any tank in one volley.

Two mega cannons

The main weapon system consists of 2 mega cannons. They fire two giant high-explosive rounds with a very large blast radius and enough damage to one-shot many vehicles.

The weakness is reload time. The shots are powerful enough that missing both can create a dangerous downtime window, especially against faster tanks that can move around the Ratte before the next volley.

Level 100 hull-cannon upgrade

On April 12, 2025, the Ratte received its hull-cannon upgrade. At Level 100, the player can purchase the upgrade for 50K Gems.

The upgrade adds a third mega-cannon shot to the volley. That changes the vehicle's burst potential significantly and is one reason upgraded copies are especially dangerous in direct tank fights.

Why the third cannon matters

The current tracker specifically highlights the upgraded third shot, saying it allows the Ratte to destroy almost any tank in the game within a single volley.

For trading, star and progression state can therefore matter. A fully developed copy can be more attractive to gameplay-focused buyers than a low-level copy even if both are listed under the same item name.

Dual machine-gun turrets

Ratte P1000 also carries two dual-machine-gun turrets. These weapons are useful for smaller threats such as NPCs, players and light vehicles that do not justify spending the main cannon volley.

They provide sustained close-range defense while the mega cannons are reloading.

AI defensive turrets

The vehicle is fitted with two smaller dual-machine-gun AI turrets. Their direct damage is poor, but they have an important defensive role: the AI guns can intercept incoming missiles.

This gives the Ratte another layer of survivability beyond its huge health pool, although missile interception should not be treated as perfect protection.

How to use Ratte P1000 in PvP

1. Do not chase fast vehicles

Base Speed 15 makes mobility the obvious weakness. Position where enemies have to approach you instead of trying to follow light tanks or fast armored vehicles across the map.

2. Make the mega-cannon volley count

Your strongest advantage is burst damage. Wait for a clean shot and avoid wasting the entire volley on a target that is about to move behind cover.

3. Use machine guns on small threats

Save the main cannon shells for important vehicles. The machine-gun turrets are better for infantry, NPCs and low-health targets.

4. Fight around objectives and bases

The Ratte's huge size and slow speed become less important when opponents are forced to enter your firing area.

5. Watch slopes and uneven terrain

The Wiki notes that the vehicle can get stuck on slight inclines. Plan routes around steep or awkward terrain rather than assuming the huge chassis can climb everything.

How rare is Ratte P1000?

The original event limited the vehicle to 750 copies. The free Daily Crate chance was documented at 0.05% (1 in 2,000), while the Premium crate chance was 3% (about 1 in 30).

That restricted supply is the main reason Ratte P1000 remains much more valuable than ordinary high-performance tanks.

Community tier position

Recent community tier lists commonly place Ratte P1000 in A tier. One gameplay-focused ranking includes it among the strongest Limited Edition items, while another Limited Edition list also places it in the top tier.

Is Ratte P1000 worth keeping?
