What is LE A-10?

LE A-10, also known in community documentation as LE750 A-10, is a Limited Edition remake of the regular A-10 with stronger combat performance and a special Instant Lock-On mechanic.

Its role is built around sustained pressure. The pilot can use an aimable machine gun while rapidly acquiring aerial targets with missiles, which makes the aircraft especially dangerous when an enemy is repeatedly entering the same combat area.

360° aimable minigun

The current tracker describes LE A-10 as having a 360° rotational minigun. Community documentation similarly describes the gun as capable of aiming where the cursor points rather than behaving like a strictly forward-fixed fighter gun.

This is one of the aircraft's most useful features because it reduces the need to perfectly align the nose of the aircraft for every burst of gunfire.

The aimable gun is a major part of the aircraft's damage output. Use it continuously when a target remains exposed instead of treating the A-10 as a missile-only fighter.

3. Save flare-bypass missiles for defensive pilots

If the opponent is constantly using flares, the three anti-flare missiles are more valuable than normal missiles. Do not waste them if ordinary lock-ons are already enough.

4. Do not assume Instant Lock-On means guaranteed hits

Fast acquisition helps, but evasive aircraft and Super Sonic Dodge can still reduce missile effectiveness.
