What is Gold F35?

The Golden F-35 is an event aerial vehicle released on December 24, 2022. It is the strongest of the original F-35 event trio: F-35, Stealth F-35 and Golden F-35.

The original F-35 event ran from December 24, 2022 to January 7, 2023. Players earned the normal F-35 after 10 missions, Stealth F-35 after 13 missions and Golden F-35 after completing all 15 missions.

Why Gold F35 was important

The Military Tycoon Wiki says the Golden F-35 became the game's best aerial vehicle at the time of the 2022 event, pushing the A-10 out of the top spot.

Later aircraft eventually surpassed it, but Gold F35 remains important because of its age, event history and VTOL role.

VTOL

The Golden F-35 can switch between normal forward flight and VTOL mode. This allows it to hover instead of constantly moving like a conventional jet.

The documented keyboard control for switching flight modes is E.

Missiles and bombs

The Wiki documents the Golden F-35 with both missiles and bombs. The exact missile count varies depending on upgrades and some older Wiki sections are inconsistent, but the key point is that the Golden Lock-On upgrade greatly increases missile capacity.

The aircraft also carries up to 6 bombs, making it useful against ground targets as well as aircraft.

Golden Lock-On upgrade

The special Golden Lock-On upgrade costs 500 Gems in the older Wiki documentation.

It increases missile capacity and is one of the main reasons the Golden F-35 was much stronger than the regular and Stealth variants during its original era.

Advantages

The older Wiki lists several strengths:

Disadvantages

The main weakness is age. Military Tycoon has added many stronger fighter jets since 2022.

• older weapon design compared with modern fighters;
• Golden Lock-On requires additional Gems;
• many newer fighters can outperform it in direct dogfighting.

What does RAP 14K mean?

The supplied in-game card shows RAP 14K. RAP is useful as a quick reference, but it should not automatically be treated as the guaranteed current trade price.

For an old event vehicle like Gold F35, recent live offers, star level and current tracker values are more useful than RAP alone.

Gold F35 vs normal F35

The normal F-35 was the early event reward and has only a small missile and bomb loadout. Golden F-35 was the final 15-mission reward and received stronger stats, more bombs and access to Golden Lock-On.

Gold F35 vs Stealth F35

Stealth F-35 takes longer to lock onto and was the 13-mission reward. Golden F-35 was positioned above it in the original event, with stronger weapons and higher overall performance.

Is Gold F35 worth keeping?

For gameplay, it is no longer a top-tier modern fighter, but VTOL, bombs and Golden Lock-On still make it usable.

For collection and trading, the 2022 F-35 event history makes it more interesting than many ordinary Legendary aircraft.
