What is Wulf?
Wulf Flugel is a German-inspired Fighter-class aerial vehicle added on March 9, 2024. It was originally obtained through the Wulf Quest and later appeared as a reward in the Vehicle Quest.
The vehicle is based on the unusual Focke-Wulf Triebflügel concept and stands out because of its vertical-landing design and two flight styles.
VTOL and two flight modes
Wulf's passive ability is VTOL. The update announcement described the aircraft as having “2 flying modes,” while the Wiki lists the hover/vertical landing control as one of its defining features.
This gives Wulf more flexibility around bases, narrow landing areas and low-speed repositioning than an ordinary fixed-wing fighter.
Lock-on missiles
The Wulf Flugel Wiki lists 6 missiles in the standard configuration. These missiles can lock onto aerial targets and form the main air-to-air weapon system.
The update announcement also highlighted Wulf as having strong air-to-air capabilities, which fits the combination of lock-on missiles, agility and explosive machine guns.
Triple Lock-On upgrade
Wulf has one important special upgrade: Triple Lock-On.
The Wiki lists the upgrade price at 1,750 Diamonds. Once purchased, Wulf can fire three missiles per shot and the listed missile capacity increases to 15 missiles.
Two explosive machine guns
Wulf also carries 2 machine guns with explosive bullets.
The main limitation is that the guns fire forward only. That means you need to keep the aircraft pointed at the target instead of relying on an aimable turret.
| System | Confirmed behavior | Role |
|---|---|---|
| VTOL | Hover / vertical landing capability | Mobility and positioning |
| Missiles | 6 standard lock-on missiles | Air-to-air combat |
| Triple Lock-On | 1,750 Diamonds; fires 3 missiles per shot; listed 15 total | Upgraded missile burst |
| Explosive MGs | 2 forward-firing explosive machine guns | Sustained damage |

March 2024 health buff

How to use Wulf in PvP
1. Use VTOL for positioning, not for sitting still
Hovering is useful around bases and landing areas, but a stationary fighter is an easy target. Switch back into normal flight when you need speed and survivability.
2. Use lock-on missiles to start air fights
Missiles are the easiest way to pressure another aircraft before closing into machine-gun range.
3. Keep the nose on the enemy
The explosive machine guns are forward-firing. Good tracking and turning are necessary to keep consistent damage on another fighter.
4. Triple Lock-On is strongest against committed targets
Three missiles per shot are most useful when the opponent has already committed to a turn or has limited room to break the lock.
5. Avoid wasting the upgrade on weak targets
If the target is already low-health, save the heavier missile burst and finish with machine guns when practical.
Wulf Quest history
Wulf Flugel launched in the March 9, 2024 Wulf Flugel update as the reward for the new Wulf Quest.
The official update text described it as agile, good at air-to-air combat and equipped with two flight modes.
Vehicle Quest return
Wulf later returned during the Vehicle Quest, where the Wiki lists it as the 500,000-point reward.
This gave players another route to obtain the aircraft after the original Wulf Quest.
