What does Super Horten 229 do?

Super Horten 229 is the new nuclear bomber in Military Tycoon. Its flying-wing shape gives it a distinctive silhouette, but the weapon is the reason to pay attention: it drops nukes. The pilot needs to bring the aircraft over the target and time the release during the attack run.

That makes the approach part of the shot. On your first flights, use a clear ground target and learn where the bomb lands at different heights and speeds. Once the release feels familiar, it becomes easier to line up the next run without spending unnecessary time over the target.

How the stealth mechanic helps a bombing run

Enemy missiles take far longer to lock on to Super Horten 229. For a bomber that has to commit to an approach, that extra time is useful: the pilot has a bigger window to reach the release point, drop the bomb and start leaving the area.

Plan the exit before starting the run. A slow turn over the same target gives defenders more time to finish their lock. Keep the flight path deliberate, make the drop and reposition before returning.

Super Horten 229 vs Horten 229

The two aircraft have separate names and rarities. Super Horten 229 is Limited Edition, while the regular Horten 229 is Exotic. The Bomber Stats cards also show a clear visual difference.

The screenshots show bars without numeric values. They let us compare the displayed profiles, but they do not give an exact bomb damage figure, health total or flight speed. Nuclear bombs and the slower enemy missile lock-on are the features announced for the Super version.

How to get Super Horten 229 from the Golden Crate

Super Horten 229 is featured in the new Golden Crate. Before opening a crate, check its reward list and the full item name. The Limited Super variant and the Exotic regular variant are different collection entries.

The release announcement does not provide this crate’s drop odds or the requirement for earning it. Check the new crate’s own information in the game; the reward rules from an earlier Golden Crate may be different.

Pantsir Quest returns until October 9

The Pantsir Quest is back. Earn event points to unlock the Pantsir anti-air truck. The announced end date is October 9, so this is the part of the update with a clear deadline.

Pantsir also gets more health and a higher top speed. If you already own it, try it again after the update. The extra speed can help with repositioning, while the health increase gives the truck more room to absorb damage. The announcement does not give the size of either increase.

Ballistic Bundle and the Explosive Crossbow

The limited-time Ballistic Bundle pairs Ballistic Shield with Explosive Crossbow. The crossbow fires bolts that stick where they land, then explode.

The delay changes how you choose a shot. Watch where the target is going as well as where it stands at the moment of impact. After firing, pay attention to the bolt’s landing point and the explosion timing so the next shot is easier to place.

The October 9 deadline belongs to the Pantsir Quest. A separate end date for the Ballistic Bundle is not given in the announcement.

Pistols and the UZI now work behind shields

Shield tools now let players fire pistols and the UZI from behind the shield. You can use one of those weapons while keeping the shield in front of you, which gives shield users another way to respond during a fight.

Try the weapon-and-shield combination before relying on it in a busy battle. Check how the view, aim and weapon handling feel together, especially if you have also changed the new camera settings.

Gun rework and the new aiming settings

The gun rework adds a new weapon editor, attachments on more guns, a shoulder camera and a new first-person look and feel. These changes affect the weapons you already use as well as the newly added gear.

Open Controls → Aiming & Firing to find the new camera options:

  • Always enter first person when you draw a weapon.
  • Return to third person when you put the weapon away.
  • Turn the shoulder camera off.

If aiming feels unfamiliar after the update, start with this menu. Choose the camera behavior you prefer, then spend a few minutes testing your usual weapon before changing the rest of your setup.

New nuclear clouds and the wind warning

Every nuke now leaves a mushroom cloud. That includes the new Super Horten 229’s nuclear bombs, since the effect applies to nuclear explosions across the game.

The update also tells players to listen for the approaching wind and get behind their shield. Keep an ear on that cue when a nuke goes off nearby; it is a reason to react immediately during the fight.

Infinity Car X balance change and bug fixes

Infinity Car X receives a higher fire rate. Alongside the Pantsir buffs and shield changes, that is another reason to revisit a vehicle you may already own.

The update fixes the country picker, players spawning in water underneath their base, mobile camera shake in land vehicles and base light switches. Those changes should be most noticeable during ordinary play: choosing a country, spawning, driving and using the base.

Super Horten 229 value and trading

The supplied aircraft cards do not show a RAP or Diamond price. For a new Limited, look at several current offers and completed trades before settling on an amount. The nuclear weapon and defensive mechanic make the aircraft interesting to use, but they do not establish a trade price on their own.
