Super Ace Pilot in Military Tycoon — Complete Guide

Super Ace Pilot is a Limited Edition support soldier built around one of the strongest aircraft buffs in Military Tycoon. Its Air Supremacy effect starts at +6% air-vehicle damage with no stars and scales all the way to +30% at 3★ — and multiple copies can stack.

Why players care about Super Ace Pilot: its direct gun damage is not the main reason to equip it. The real value is Air Supremacy, a passive aircraft-damage buff that becomes dramatically stronger with stars and can stack across multiple equipped Super Ace Pilots.

What is Super Ace Pilot?

Super Ace Pilot is a Limited Edition soldier designed to support air vehicles. Instead of acting like a normal infantry damage dealer, it improves the damage output of the player's aerial vehicles.

That makes it especially useful for players whose strongest vehicles are fighters, bombers, helicopters or other aircraft. The soldier itself also carries a strong pistol with good range, but its passive aircraft buff is the defining mechanic.

Air Supremacy explained

The Super Ace Pilot's main ability is an aircraft-damage bonus that applies regardless of the soldier's normal level. The important progression is the star rating.

StarsAir Vehicle Damage BuffWhat changes
0★+6%Base Super Ace Pilot buff
1★+10%Noticeable step up
2★+18%Large mid-tier jump
3★+30%Maximum single-copy buff

The scaling is intentionally uneven: every star is more valuable than the one before it. Going from 2★ to 3★ adds another 12 percentage points, which is why high-star Super Ace Pilots are much more impactful than unstarred copies.

How stacking works

One of the most important mechanics is that multiple Super Ace Pilot troops can stack together.

Current item documentation states that four 3★ Super Ace Pilots can produce a maximum combined aircraft-damage buff of 120%.

The math is simple:

  • 1 × 3★ Super Ace Pilot = +30%;
  • 2 × 3★ = +60%;
  • 3 × 3★ = +90%;
  • 4 × 3★ = +120%.

That is a huge difference for an aircraft-focused loadout and explains why Super Ace Pilot can have an extreme passive impact even though its personal combat stats are not exceptional.

Does the buff depend on soldier level?

The documented Air Supremacy percentage is tied to stars, not normal troop level. A 0★ Super Ace Pilot applies the +6% buff at any level, while a 3★ version applies the +30% buff at any level.

This is important because it means players evaluating the support effect should pay attention to the star count first.

Super Ace Pilot's pistol

Super Ace Pilot is not completely passive. The troop is documented with a strong pistol that deals good damage and has good range.

Still, the pistol should be viewed as secondary utility. If you are using Super Ace Pilot, the main reason is to amplify the vehicle damage of your aircraft.

Main weakness: low troop health

The biggest documented weakness is low troop health. That matters because losing the support soldier may remove the value you expected from the aircraft buff.

So this is not a soldier you should throw into the most dangerous infantry position. Its job is to survive and keep supporting your air-vehicle setup.

Best vehicles to pair with Super Ace Pilot

Super Ace Pilot becomes more valuable as the base damage of your aircraft increases. A percentage buff applied to a weak aircraft is useful; the same percentage applied to a powerful Limited Edition fighter or bomber can be far more important.

It makes the most sense with:

  • high-damage fighters;
  • bombers;
  • missile-heavy helicopters;
  • Limited Edition aircraft;
  • aircraft used constantly in PvP rather than occasionally.

Super Ace Pilot with Super Razor

A vehicle such as Super Razor is a natural example of why Air Supremacy matters. Super Razor already has EMP pressure and four heavy missiles, so increasing its overall vehicle damage can make an already expensive fighter even more threatening.

See our Super Razor guide for the full aircraft breakdown.

Super Ace Pilot with Super S67

The S67 family relies on repeated missile pressure and an explosive machine gun. Adding a percentage aircraft-damage buff fits that playstyle well because the benefit applies repeatedly across the entire fight rather than only once.

See the Super S67 guide.

Best way to build around Super Ace Pilot

1. Prioritize stars

The difference between +6% and +30% is enormous. If the goal is pure aircraft performance, star progression is the most important part of the troop.

2. Use it only when aircraft are central to your loadout

A player spending most of the session in tanks or ships will not extract the same value from Air Supremacy as someone constantly using aircraft.

3. Stack copies only when the opportunity cost makes sense

Four 3★ copies can reach +120%, but filling multiple troop slots with the same support type means giving up other soldier abilities. The maximum theoretical buff is not automatically the best loadout for every situation.

4. Keep the troop alive

Low health is the main weakness. Avoid treating Super Ace Pilot like a frontline infantry unit.

Super Ace Pilot value and trading

The current value tracker does not publish a reliable Gem Low / Gem High range for Super Ace Pilot; both fields currently remain unestablished. The current market indicators are Demand 4/10, Scarcity 6/10, Functionality 4/10 and a Dropping slowly trend.

The in-game screenshot shows RAP 148K. RAP is useful as a market snapshot, but it should not be treated as a guaranteed sale or trade value.

Trading note: star rating matters enormously for this item because the functional benefit jumps from +6% at 0★ to +30% at 3★. Two Super Ace Pilots with different star ratings should not be evaluated as though they provide the same gameplay value.

Is Super Ace Pilot rare?

The current tracker classifies it as Limited Edition with Scarcity 6/10. It is currently marked as tradable, while it is not marked as a Collector Item or Special item.

Is Super Ace Pilot worth using?

For an aircraft-focused player, yes — especially at higher star levels. A 3★ Super Ace Pilot providing +30% air-vehicle damage is a meaningful passive upgrade, and stacked copies can transform an air-focused build.

For a player who rarely uses aircraft, the value drops sharply because the troop's most important mechanic is specialized specifically around air vehicles.

Who should use Super Ace Pilot?

  • players who spend most of their PvP time in aircraft;
  • owners of expensive Limited Edition fighters and bombers;
  • players building maximum aircraft-damage loadouts;
  • traders who understand the value of star progression;
  • players who can protect a low-health support troop.
