What is Shopping Cart?
Shopping Cart is a permanent, non-buildable Ground Vehicle originally earned during the April Fools 2025 event.
The design is exactly what the name suggests: a heavily modified shopping cart fitted with rocket boosters and a mounted weapon. It is a joke vehicle visually, but its combat stats and Heavy Armor make it much more useful than a simple cosmetic item.
Release date and April Fools 2025 event
The Military Tycoon Wiki lists the release date as April 1, 2025.
The original event was extremely short. The Wiki notes that the event lasted only about 3 days, which is one reason the vehicle remains relatively scarce today.
How hard was Shopping Cart to obtain?
The older Wiki documentation says obtaining the Shopping Cart in pro servers could require roughly 834 kills during the event.
That number is best treated as historical event guidance rather than a current unlock requirement, because the April Fools event is no longer active.
Heavy Armor
The Wiki lists Heavy armor as the vehicle's Special property.
According to the Wiki, shots striking certain angles can be reflected and deal little or no damage. That gives the tiny cart a surprising survivability mechanic despite its comic appearance.
Weapon: current tracker vs older Wiki
There is a useful documentation difference:
- Current tracker: aimable explosive-round cannon;
- Older Wiki: mounted minigun, similar to the one on Assault Bike.
Because the current market tracker is newer, this guide uses the explosive-round cannon description for current gameplay context while preserving the older Wiki record as historical documentation.
| Feature | Current / documented behavior | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Main weapon | Current tracker: aimable explosive-round cannon | Good general combat utility |
| Older weapon record | Wiki: mounted minigun | Historical documentation difference |
| Armor | Heavy Armor | Can reduce damage from some impact angles |
| Movement | Decent speed and maneuverability | Useful for a small ground vehicle |
| Size | Very small | Harder visual target than a full tank |

What the supplied stat card shows
Your screenshot confirms:
- Name: Shopping Cart;
- Rarity: Legendary;
- Class: Armored Vehicle;
- Damage: low-to-moderate on the simplified bar;
- Health: low;
- Speed: moderate;
- RAP: 5.9K.
Why Functionality is 8/10
The current tracker gives Shopping Cart Functionality 8/10, which is unusually high for a low-value Legendary item.
The likely reason is its combination of mobility, small size, useful armament and Heavy Armor. It is not expensive, but it can still be genuinely useful in normal fights.
How to use Shopping Cart in PvP
1. Take advantage of the small size
Do not fight like a large tank. Use buildings, terrain and quick direction changes to make yourself harder to track.
2. Keep moving
The current tracker specifically praises its speed and maneuverability. Sitting still removes one of the main advantages of the vehicle.
3. Use Heavy Armor angles
If incoming bullets can be reflected from certain angles, avoid presenting the same flat angle to enemies for long periods.
4. Use the weapon as sustained pressure
The current explosive-round cannon description suggests the vehicle is best used as a flexible pressure platform rather than a one-shot heavy tank.
5. Avoid fighting top-tier heavy armor head-on
Shopping Cart is fun and functional, but it is still a small event vehicle. Mobility and positioning matter more than trying to out-tank a major Limited Edition vehicle.
Current Shopping Cart value
The latest tracker lists Shopping Cart at approximately 3.5K–4.5K Gems.
- Demand: 6/10;
- Scarcity: 6/10;
- Functionality: 8/10;
- Trend: Dropping slowly;
- Suggested rarity: Legendary;
- Collector Item: No;
- Tradable: Yes;
- Special: Yes.
What does RAP 5.9K mean?
The supplied screenshot shows RAP 5.9K. That is above the current 3.5K–4.5K tracked Gem range.
Because the trend is currently Dropping slowly, RAP should not automatically be treated as the current normal sale price.
Is Shopping Cart worth keeping?
For gameplay, yes if you enjoy unusual vehicles. Functionality 8/10, decent mobility and Heavy Armor make it more useful than the price suggests.
For trading, the current value is modest and the trend is Dropping slowly, so it is not a high-end investment item. Its strongest appeal is the April Fools history and unique gameplay.
