What is S-Tank Railgun?

S-Tank Railgun is the Exotic variant of Military Tycoon's three-vehicle S-Tank family. The family also includes the Epic S-Tank Barrage and Legendary S-Tank Gatling.

The S-Tanks arrived during the BF-109 / Super-Tank Crate update on the November 23–24, 2024 weekend. The Railgun version was the rarest and strongest variant in the original crate family.

Railgun

The primary weapon is a charge-up Railgun. The Wiki says it takes a few seconds to charge before firing and deals decent damage.

Unlike Boss Sea Tank or Boss Viper, the S-Tank Railgun does not have rapid-fire railgun behavior. That makes each shot more deliberate and increases the penalty for missing.

Why Railgun is much more expensive

The current price gap is large: S-Tank Railgun trades around 30K–40K, while Gatling and Barrage are still in the single-digit thousands.

The Railgun version was the rarest original crate variant and remains the highest-rarity S-Tank. That scarcity premium matters even though its current Demand is only 2/10.

How to use S-Tank Railgun in PvP

1. Make the railgun shot count

The charge-up and lack of rapid fire mean missed shots cost time. Fire when you have a clear target instead of trying to spam the railgun.

2. Use Mega Cannons between railgun opportunities

The cannons give you something to use against ground vehicles while preparing or repositioning for another railgun shot.

3. Avoid relying on it as dedicated anti-air

The S-Tank Gatling has the more obvious air-defense role. S-Tank Railgun is better treated as a heavy precision ground-threat variant.

4. Unlock the Level 25 and 50 upgrades
