MZKT in Military Tycoon — Mega Rocket, Nuke Upgrade, Value & Trading Guide

MZKT is a Legendary ground artillery vehicle built around a single ballistic-style Mega Rocket. Its most important feature is a late-game Nuke Upgrade that converts the payload into a full nuclear missile. The current market range is 3K–3.8K Gems, while the supplied trade card shows RAP 20K.

Main feature: MZKT starts with a Mega Rocket, but its real power appears only after the Nuke Upgrade. Reaching vehicle level 95 and spending 15,000 Diamonds changes the payload into a nuclear missile with full nuke-style blast damage.

What is MZKT?

MZKT is a large mobile ballistic missile launcher released in August 2024 and obtained through the MZKT Quest. It is not a normal buildable tycoon vehicle.

The vehicle looks threatening because of its size and missile tube, but the base version is much weaker than the upgraded nuclear version. Its low speed, slow turning and limited defensive options make positioning very important.

Mega Rocket

The standard MZKT carries one Mega Rocket. Pressing the fire button raises the launch tube before the missile leaves the vehicle, so the shot is not instant.

The launch sequence takes several seconds. After climbing, the missile begins tracking its target, but it cannot directly lock onto enemy vehicles in the same way as dedicated lock-on missiles.

The normal Mega Rocket is much less dangerous than the vehicle's appearance suggests, which is why the upgraded nuclear payload changes the usefulness of MZKT so dramatically.

Base WeaponSingle Mega Rocket with a delayed launch sequence.
ReloadAbout 23 seconds between shots.
Nuke UpgradeRequires vehicle level 95 + 15,000 Diamonds.
Best UseLong-range strikes after unlocking the nuclear payload.

Nuke Upgrade

The special upgrade unlocks at vehicle level 95 and costs 15,000 Diamonds.

Once purchased, the standard payload becomes a Nuclear Missile. The nuclear version uses the same type of blast radius and damage as a regular base nuke, turning MZKT from a weak novelty launcher into a much more serious long-range weapon.

The requirement is extremely demanding, which is why most copies encountered in trading are far more useful on paper than they are for an average player who has not completed the upgrade grind.

The current trading range is approximately 3,000–3,800 Gems.

Demand: 3/10

Demand is low. The level-95 requirement makes the strongest version inaccessible to many players, so not everyone wants to grind the vehicle after trading for it.

Scarcity: 5/10

Scarcity is average. MZKT is not extremely common, but it is also not rare enough on its own to support a very high market price.

Functionality: 3/10

The low functionality score reflects the weak base missile, long reload, poor mobility and the difficulty of unlocking the nuke upgrade.

Trend: Dropping

The market is currently moving downward, so sellers should be careful about using old RAP numbers as a current price target.

RAP 20K vs current value

The supplied card shows RAP 20K, but the current market range is only 3K–3.8K Gems.

That is a major gap. RAP is more than five times the current Gem High, so using RAP as the asking price would significantly overvalue a normal copy.

Trading note: for MZKT, use the current 3K–3.8K range instead of RAP 20K. The market is also dropping, which makes old RAP even less useful as a fair-price reference.

Advantages

  • unique Nuclear Missile upgrade;
  • nuclear version deals extremely high area damage;
  • can attack from long range;
  • distinct ballistic-missile gameplay compared with ordinary artillery.

Disadvantages

  • standard Mega Rocket is weak for such a large launcher;
  • about 23 seconds of reload time;
  • very low top speed;
  • poor turning radius;
  • low health for such a large vehicle;
  • no defensive weapon;
  • missile cannot lock directly onto enemy vehicles;
  • launch animation makes quick shots difficult;
  • Nuke Upgrade requires level 95 and another 15K Diamonds.

Community tier

A broad community gameplay ranking places MZKT in E tier. The ranking is based on gameplay strength rather than rarity.

That placement makes sense for the normal version: without the nuke upgrade, MZKT is slow, fragile and limited to one long-reload missile.

MZKT vs Nuke Railgun Tank

Both vehicles can use nuclear weapons, but they approach the idea very differently. MZKT requires a difficult level-95 upgrade before gaining a nuclear payload, while Nuke Railgun Tank has its nuclear capability built into its combat cycle.

Nuke Railgun Tank also has a railgun and missile battery, so it remains dangerous even while its nuclear attack is unavailable. MZKT is far more dependent on its single payload.

MZKT vs Missile Truck

Missile Truck is easier to use as a regular missile vehicle, while MZKT is built around one large delayed shot. The MZKT becomes much more interesting only after the nuclear upgrade.

How to use MZKT

1. Fire from distance

The launcher is slow and vulnerable, so it performs better when positioned away from the center of a fight.

2. Plan around the 23-second reload

Missing a shot is expensive because there is a long wait before the next missile is available.

3. Avoid close-range fights

MZKT has no defensive weapon and poor turning. Fast tanks and aircraft can punish it very quickly at close range.

4. Grind the nuke upgrade only if you plan to use it

Level 95 plus 15,000 Diamonds is a major investment. The upgrade changes the vehicle dramatically, but it is not cheap enough to buy casually.

Is MZKT worth keeping?

For gameplay, the answer depends almost entirely on whether you want to unlock the nuclear payload. The standard vehicle is weak, while the upgraded version can deliver devastating long-range area damage.

For trading, the current 3K–3.8K value and dropping trend matter much more than the displayed RAP 20K.
