Military Tycoon Item Stars — Fusion Bonuses, Costs & Screenshot Guide
Stars are not decoration. In Military Tycoon, the star icons on vehicles show progress through the Vehicle Fusion system. Each Fusion tier can add damage bonuses and, from the higher tiers, a different impact effect. This guide explains the star symbols in the supplied screenshots, separates stars from LVL and rarity, and shows the safe way to build them.

What the stars mean
A normal star is the visible rank of a Fusion upgrade. It tells you how far the chosen vehicle has been fused, not how rare the vehicle is. A Common vehicle can have a star count, and a Limited Edition vehicle can have a different star count; rarity and Fusion are two different fields.
The star tier also tells you which Fusion ammunition effect is active. The first two tiers add percentage bonuses. From three stars onward, the documented Fusion effects change the look and behaviour of impacts: incendiary, irradiated and atomic effects. That is why a high-star copy should not be priced like an untouched copy of the same name.
Every star and its documented bonus
The table below follows the current Vehicle Fusion upgrade table used by the game guides and star-upgrade demonstrations. The live Fusion window is the final authority: a balance update can change a cost, and the amount shown on your server should be checked before you press Confirm.
| Tier | Documented requirement | What it gives | What you should see |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1★ Hollow-Point | 20 Iron Scrap 200,000 Cash 20 Hollow-Point Ammo | +50% Boss DMG and +5% DMG to all enemies. | No extra weapon effect was documented; this is the first percentage-bonus tier. |
| 2★ Piercing | 200 Iron Scrap 1,000,000 Cash 100 Piercing Ammo | +100% Boss DMG and +5% DMG to all vehicles. | The card normally shows two ordinary stars. The special impact effect is not the main change recorded for this tier. |
| 3★ Incendiary | 1,500 Iron Scrap 5,000,000 Cash 500 Incendiary Ammo | +250% Boss DMG and burn damage. | Hits add a red damage pulse and damage-over-time effect around the impact. |
| 4★ Irradiated | 3,000 Iron Scrap 10,000,000 Cash 1,000 Irradiated Ammo | +500% Boss DMG and radiation damage. | Hits add a green pulse and a stronger damage-over-time effect. |
| 5★ Atomic | 6,000 Iron Scrap 25,000,000 Cash 2,500 Atomic Ammo | +1,000% Boss DMG and the atomic/radiation effect. | Impacts create a small nuclear detonation. Five stars is the maximum normal tier; the UI can replace the small star row with a larger radiant red star. |
How to make stars with Vehicle Fusion
- Go to the Garage in your base. Open the Vehicle Fusion panel rather than the ordinary vehicle mastery panel.
- Choose the target. Pick the vehicle you want to keep and upgrade. Check its name, current LVL and current stars before adding materials.
- Feed materials for Iron Scrap. The Fusion screen accepts vehicles, soldiers and drones. Higher rarity and higher-level materials are worth more scrap in the documented table; duplicate vehicle items can provide extra scrap.
- Meet every requirement. Iron Scrap is only one part of the cost. The panel can also ask for Cash and a named ammunition type such as Hollow-Point, Piercing, Incendiary, Irradiated or Atomic Ammo.
- Read the confirmation screen. The selected materials are consumed after confirmation. If the item is a favourite, Limited Edition or your only copy, cancel and re-check before accepting.
- Test the result. After Fusion, compare the star icon, LVL, damage behaviour and new impact effect. Save a screenshot if you trade or document the item later.
How much Iron Scrap do materials provide?
The commonly documented baseline for the normal vehicle-fusion materials is below. It is a guide to the scrap calculation, not permission to destroy a valuable item. Limited Edition and some special item types can be handled differently by the live panel, so always trust the value shown before confirmation.
| Material rarity | Documented Iron Scrap | Practical advice |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 10 | Useful for small early requirements, but check whether the item is needed for a collection. |
| Rare | 15 | Usually a low-cost material; do not assume every item has the same level value. |
| Epic | 30 | Keep an eye on duplicates and level before fusing. |
| Legendary | 150 | Enough to matter, but too valuable to sacrifice without checking the target. |
| Exotic | 1,000 | High scrap value; confirm that it is a spare before using it. |
The exact amount can also depend on whether the selected item is a duplicate and on the item's level. The safe workflow is simple: select the material, read the updated Iron Scrap total, and stop if the total is not what you expected.
What each supplied screenshot shows
The screenshots are item-card snapshots, so the following reading counts only the visible symbols. The background colour, vehicle artwork and card border are not a replacement for the star count.
| Screenshot | Visible reading | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| White robot / armoured vehicle | 3 ordinary stars · LVL 100 | This is a three-star Fusion tier, so the incendiary/burn effect is the relevant documented upgrade. LVL 100 is the mastery number and does not mean “100 stars”. |
| White-and-gold jet | 2 ordinary stars · LVL 35 | This is the two-star Piercing tier. The LVL 35 number is separate progression; it does not reduce or replace the two Fusion stars. |
| Grey stealth aircraft | 2 ordinary stars · LVL 53 | It has the same visible Fusion tier as the jet, but a different mastery level. Two vehicles with two stars can still have different base weapons and handling. |
| Blue helicopter | One ordinary star · LVL 92 · large orange/red glow | The small five-point icon is one ordinary star. The large glow is a separate marker and should not be counted as a sixth star. It is visually consistent with the radiant max-Fusion marker described for the five-star state, but the cropped card alone cannot prove its tooltip label. |
| Gold aircraft | 1 ordinary star · LVL 46 | This is the first Fusion tier. The documented first-star bonus is +5% damage to all enemies and +50% Boss DMG, subject to the live server's current balance. |
Stars versus LVL, rarity and RAP
| Label | What it describes | What it does not describe |
|---|---|---|
| Stars | Vehicle Fusion tier and its extra effects. | Not rarity, not LVL and not a guaranteed price. |
| LVL | Vehicle mastery earned by using the vehicle. Milestones unlock base damage, health and speed upgrades. | Not the number of Fusion stars. |
| Rarity | Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Exotic or Limited Edition classification. | Not the current Fusion tier. |
| RAP | A value reference printed on the card. | Not a final Gem offer and not a measure of star power by itself. |
This distinction matters in trades. Compare the same vehicle name, rarity, LVL, star tier and visible special effect. A high RAP with no stars is not automatically better than a lower-RAP copy with a useful Fusion effect, and the reverse can also be true when the buyer values the base vehicle more.
How to check a star upgrade before trading
- Ask for a full card screenshot where the name, rarity, stars and LVL are visible.
- Ask whether a large radiant icon is a max-Fusion marker or another special badge.
- Compare the exact star tier, not just the vehicle name.
- Check whether the seller is showing the real item in the Trade Server, not an edited image.
- Keep RAP separate from a live Gem offer and compare more than one trade.

What do the stars on Military Tycoon items mean?
For vehicles, the stars are the Vehicle Fusion upgrade tier. They are not the item rarity, the RAP number or the LVL number.
How do I make a star on a vehicle?
Open the Garage and Vehicle Fusion, choose the vehicle to upgrade, add vehicles, soldiers or drones for Iron Scrap, then meet the displayed Cash and ammo requirements before confirming.
What does one star give?
The documented one-star tier uses Hollow-Point Ammo and gives +50% Boss DMG and +5% DMG to all enemies. Check the live Fusion panel because balance costs can change.
What does two stars give?
The documented two-star tier uses Piercing Ammo and gives +100% Boss DMG and +5% DMG to all vehicles.
What changes at three stars?
The three-star tier adds an Incendiary effect: impacts show a red pulse and apply damage over time in addition to the documented boss-damage bonus.
What changes at four stars?
The four-star tier adds the Irradiated effect: impacts show a green pulse and apply a stronger damage-over-time effect.
What changes at five stars?
Five stars are the maximum normal Fusion tier. The documented Atomic effect creates a small nuclear detonation at the impact point and adds the highest listed boss-damage bonus.
Are stars the same as rarity?
No. Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Exotic and Limited Edition describe rarity. Stars describe Fusion progress. A Limited Edition vehicle can have a different star count from another copy.
Are stars the same as LVL?
No. LVL is vehicle mastery earned by using the vehicle. Mastery unlocks damage, health and speed upgrades at level milestones; Fusion stars are a separate upgrade system.
What does the glowing orange star in the helicopter screenshot mean?
It is not a normal extra sixth star. It is a separate radiant marker. The current Fusion description uses a large radiant red star for the maxed state, but a cropped card cannot replace the live tooltip, so confirm the exact marker in the Fusion window.
Do Fusion materials disappear?
Yes. After the final confirmation, the selected vehicles, soldiers and drones are consumed. Use duplicates or unwanted items only after checking the confirmation screen.
Can a higher star count change trade value?
Yes. A starred copy can be more useful and harder to reproduce than an unstarred copy, but RAP is still only a reference. Compare the exact item, LVL, stars and current offers.
