What is Master Reaper?
Master Reaper is an Exotic aerial Sky Fortress and an upgraded counterpart to Sky Reaper. It is a VTOL aircraft, meaning it can move vertically rather than relying only on normal forward flight.
Its biggest strengths are boss damage, durability and automated defensive fire. Its weaknesses are limited aim range, mediocre maneuverability and poor dogfighting performance.
Anti-boss laser
The Master Reaper's primary weapon is a semi-aimable laser designed to perform especially well against bosses.
The current Military Tycoon Wiki describes it as capable of dealing up to approximately 4.7K damage to bosses, placing it in the same broad boss-damage conversation as Boss Annihilator.
Why the laser is important
- excellent specialized damage against bosses;
- still provides usable damage outside boss fights;
- semi-aimable design gives more flexibility than a completely fixed forward gun;
- pairs well with the aircraft's large health pool in long engagements.
Cannons
Master Reaper also carries cannon weapons. The Wiki describes the intended setup as 4 powerful cannon shots with limited aim.
However, the current documentation also notes a bug where the cannon system may effectively provide only 1 shot instead of the intended four. That bug is important when comparing theoretical weapon strength with what players actually experience.
AI defensive cannons
Master Reaper has AI-controlled defensive cannons. These can fire on nearby players and may also shoot down incoming missiles.
Automated defense is especially useful on a large Sky Fortress because the pilot can focus on positioning and the main laser while the AI system handles some nearby threats.
Weapon package
| Weapon / system | Confirmed behavior | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Primary laser | Semi-aimable anti-boss laser, up to ~4.7K boss damage | Boss damage / direct fire |
| Cannons | Intended 4 powerful shots; currently documented with a one-shot bug | Burst damage |
| AI cannons | Attack nearby players and may shoot down missiles | Automatic defense |
| Flares | Available | Missile defense |
| VTOL movement | Ascend / descend control | Positioning |
VTOL controls
Master Reaper uses VTOL-style controls. The documented scheme includes normal movement, dedicated ascend / descend controls, flares, laser fire, cannon fire and primary-weapon reload.
This makes it feel more like a flying weapons platform than a conventional high-speed fighter.
Huge health pool
The supplied in-game card shows the Health bar essentially full, while Damage is low and Speed is fairly strong. That matches the Wiki's description of a mammoth health pool.
Durability is one of the main reasons to use Master Reaper: it can remain in a boss fight or large battle longer than many fragile aircraft.
What the screenshot shows
Your supplied stat card shows:
- very low displayed Damage bar;
- extremely high Health;
- good Speed;
- RAP 373K;
- a lower indicator showing 3.
The card does not label exactly what the lower “3” represents, so this guide does not assign it an unsupported meaning.
Why does the card show low damage if it is good against bosses?
The general stat bar and the anti-boss special behavior measure different things. Master Reaper is not necessarily a high-damage general dogfighter, but its laser receives exceptional value specifically against bosses.
That is why a low general Damage bar can coexist with strong anti-boss performance.
How to use Master Reaper in boss fights
1. Keep the laser on the boss
The aircraft's biggest specialized advantage is the boss laser. Prioritize sustained laser uptime rather than chasing smaller targets unnecessarily.
2. Use the health pool
Master Reaper can survive longer than many smaller aircraft, which makes it suited to extended boss encounters.
3. Let AI cannons provide background defense
While concentrating on the boss, the automated cannons can help deal with nearby threats or incoming missiles.
4. Use flares when needed
AI missile interception is helpful but should not be treated as perfect protection. Flares remain an important defensive tool.
How to use Master Reaper in PvP
1. Avoid pure dogfights
The Wiki specifically lists poor dogfighting and weak maneuverability among its disadvantages. Do not try to out-turn dedicated fighters.
2. Fight as a durable support platform
Use VTOL positioning, health and automated defenses to hold an area rather than constantly chasing aircraft around the map.
3. Keep enemies within your limited aim envelope
The laser and cannon systems have aim limitations. Good positioning matters more than raw chase speed.

What does RAP 373K mean?
The supplied screenshot shows RAP 373K. That is below the current 400K–500K tracked Gem range.
RAP is a reference based on recent trading activity, while community value can move separately. Scarcity 9/10 also means the number of available copies can affect actual offers.
Community tier position
A recent gameplay-focused community tier list places Master Reaper in B tier. That tier list explicitly ranks items by how good they are rather than rarity, which fits the aircraft's strong boss role but weaker dogfighting performance.
Is Master Reaper worth keeping?
If you regularly fight bosses, Master Reaper is one of the more interesting Exotic air vehicles because its specialized laser, huge health pool and AI defense all support long boss encounters.
If your main activity is fighter-vs-fighter PvP, a more maneuverable aircraft may suit you better. For trading, the Stable trend and Scarcity 9/10 make Master Reaper worth monitoring rather than dumping quickly.
